Serve Now is a short gathering after Sunday service to learn about the serving opportunities at One Church, and to hear from other members about their experiences. Serve Now meetings happen every three months. Visit our events page to see when the next meeting will occur. 

The Bible describes serving as a vital part of the Christian life. Each person brings different gifts, experiences, and abilities that can be used to care for others and strengthen the church. When we serve, we reflect the love of Jesus, express gratitude for His grace, and take our place as part of the Body of Christ. It is also one of the best ways to move from simply attending to truly belonging - working alongside others, building relationships, and becoming part of what God is doing in and through the church.

One Church is a church for the community, grounded in unity and centered on Jesus. Serving gives each of us an opportunity to carry that mission forward together. Whether someone is welcoming guests, caring for kids, meeting a practical need, or using a skill behind the scenes, every act of service matters. As we serve side by side, relationships deepen, community grows, and One Church becomes more than a place we attend - it becomes a community we help build together.
 

Help create an inviting Sunday morning environment by preparing coffee and refreshments, setting out supplies, and welcoming people as they arrive. This team helps make the church feel warm, comfortable, and ready for connection.

Offer a friendly first point of connection by greeting people as they arrive and helping them feel comfortable in an unfamiliar space. This team helps ensure every person who walks through our doors feels seen, welcomed, and valued. 

Help create a safe, engaging environment where kids can belong, learn, and grow. Opportunities include serving with nursery, elementary, or middle school students, assisting with registration, and supporting programs that connect kids with Jesus and one another. 

Help create an engaging, distraction-free experience for those attending in person and online. Team members support sound, slides, lighting, livestream cameras, and online interaction, with training provided for each role regardless of prior experience. 

Use your musical gifts to help create a meaningful environment where people can connect with God through worship before and during Sunday services. Team members participate in an onboarding and audition process, then rehearse and serve together as part of the worship team. 

Put your interests and abilities to work through opportunities beyond our regular Sunday teams. From social media and graphic design to community events and other special projects, there are many ways to contribute and help One Church connect with others.
